Hunting & Trapping Section

The ability to catch your own food, especially in a survival situation is a beneficial and important skill to have. To hunt, you must learn to stalk the animal; to mask your scent, stay out of sight and strike with lightning speed. Such levels of skill are hard to come by in the modern age but we should all endeavour to learn some basic hunting techniques. Our ancestors were highly proficient in the art of tracking and killing their food and we should endeavour to keep these skills alive, they developed simple and effective means of trapping and fine tuned hunting skills to perfection. In this section of the site we shall be describing and discussing the various forms of traps, weapons and hunting skills whether this be in any every day outdoor scenario or a survival situation. Many people see trapping and killing animals for meat as inhumane and barbaric but if this meant the difference between life and death you must try to overcome any ethical objections or squeamishes.
