I need to get a replacement blade for my Laplander saw. I've had a Google but, no good. Loades of places sell the saw but not the replacement blades. Well not at a resonable price anyway.
Believe it or not but, Woodlore come up with the cheapest cost at £11.00 for the replacedment blade but, then there's postage on top. So not so cheap after all. Even Amazon who are selling the saws at a good price are very expensive for the replacement blades. Yes, I could just buy a whole new saw but, that's not really the point is it, if you consider the ecological effects ![]() Can anyone help?

You've probably already thought of this...
How about garden centres and the big DIY stores? They might have spare blades if they stock the 'non green' version of the Laplander. HTH

I think it is ridiculous that the spare blades are made yet cost so much. Personally, I'd just buy a new saw and even then I've thought about the ecological implications and yet to me it is the easier option, and in the long run probably cheaper too! So, how many other people are thinking the same way?

You could buy a new saw and put the empty old one in one of those big plastic recycling bins if it'll make you feel any better.

I came home from work for a quick splash and dash. I looked in and saw "Replacement blades for the Bahco Laplander?" and thought, I know that Mearsys site does them fairly cheap, so I posted saying so, but failed to read Tonys post first. I even said "believe it or not but....."
