Howdy From Kansas - USA
Howdy all,
My name is Todd Davison - I'm a full time knife maker from Lyons, Kansas. Right now all I make is the traditional slip joint knife. I am pretty much self taught, most learned through the school of hard knocks. I do stock removal - and most all my blades are hollow ground. All my heat treat is done by my self, always has been. Right now I'm using ATS34. Sold my first knife in 1981 a fix blade knife of so many made I lost track? Now all my slip joint folders are numbered inside. Made over 500 of them now. I like to fish, hunt and ride my Harley when I can. But mostly stay busy making knives. I do have a girl friend and my two kids are grown up and out on their own. Any way glad to be here, hope ya don't mind me joining in? Here is a shot of one of my folders. Elephant Ivory ATS34 Hollow Ground  .
