First one looks a big big for crab apple, but there are many sorts, so maybe..?

Second one is a bit hard to tell from the photo, but it looks to me like wild carrot. If you see it again, some of the flower heads may have a small purple flower right in the middle among all the white flowers..

Sorry, I've squinted as much as I can and they could be apples, but then they could also be plums! Got any closer shots of the fruits whole and also sectioned?* I'm not convinced that's pignut either to be honest. our local ones are over now and they have very slight, delicate stems, leaves and flowers. That may possibly be something like rough chervil? Can you get a closer shot of the leaf and flowerhead at all?

Hopefully someone can give you an answer!

* Just cutting one in half will tell you if it's an apple or not.

I thought it was chervil, and pignuts are down to red stems and seeds now. Looks like a proper old apple tree to me though...

Apples if it looks like an apple it is apple (or sometimes a mutant pear). I have this way finding out if they are tasty, it not very difficult, I pick it off the tree maybe give it a wipe and then take a bite. Generally the worst tasting one are true crab apples which are very small and numerous. Ferals are very interesting, with mixed features. i have one near me the apples are just like granny smiths, but they are half the size. It holds its fruit until december as well. Yours looks like a dessert apple, but I can't taste it from here.

I can't id umbrellifers very well. A close up of a side on picture of the flower head and a close up of how the leaves stick to the stork would be helpful.

Yep, wild carrot. This is the plant that our orange shop bought carrots come from.. The tap root on wild carrot is nothing like that though, but if you grow wild carrot on good soil and feed it, it is possible to get a half decent carrot, though it may take a few years.
Wild carrots have amazing seed heads..
