Default Which head torch???

Ya know, i think i become a kit freak

Anyway, i want a head torch, whats a good one to go for???
I use surefire hand torches at the moment so i have loads of the cr123 batteries around, but im not bothered if it uses them, aa or aaa.

Any recomendations???

I just use the cheapo energizer ones and they are fine, infact i think i got it free with the batteries

Or perhaps more sensible, the Myo XP.

Go and take a look on Alpkit, their head torch is all inclusive price that gets it to your door, it has LEDs in various colours and a lamp unit that is incredibly bright. there is alos a light on the back for the idiot behind who follows the wearer on a night nav exercise, when he hasn't a clue where he's going!

I had one of these until I left it on a job, will be getting another one from milletts soon

but it depends what you want from the torch, leds dont give you great distance but are cheap in batteries

I want it for when im out with the dog, and for when i stay out in the woods.
Trouble is im used to the light output from surefire and fenix torches now, using cree led's, so i'd like it to whack out a fair bit of light. I'll take a look at them ones though, cheers
