Default catapult rifle!

here it is ,a little raw ,but it works remarkably well! made from local oak from the estate.
it works by pulling the pouch and ammo back with the pliers and they clip onto a hole to hold them,to shoot simply let go with yer thumb.

here's the forks ,salvaged off a dead diablo.the anchor points are thick veg tanned leather,the elastic is the heavy duty black spear gun stuff:

this is the rear and trigger assembly,the trigger is a pair of Nissan primera toolkit pliers bent to a usable angle,the pistol grip was carved by hand.

and here it is at full draw:

and looking down the barrel so to speak!

Is the front pistol grip off a plane?

thats a big question! ide love to but i doubt i could charge enoug to reflect the time and work,i may make one more to go on ebay and see what it makes.

yep i took it off the plane years a g and coppies it for the handles on my 2 man saw,the plane died but i kept the handle as it looked like it might come in handy one day...............

Well done fish. I saw something similar in an American archery mag, a few years ago, that if i rember right, could fire either ball bearing type missiles or crossbow bolts, maybe one of our "tame yanks" can cast a light on this ?.
