I'm trying to get hold of a mini Tabasco Sauce bottle like this to go in my cooking gear but so far I've only found are vintage ones and being out of date I'd rather not try it
I believe they come in some of the US MRE's packs but I can't find a supply anywhere. Anyone know where I could get one or do you have a spare one you'd like to swap?

How about putting some tabasco in a smaller bottle? There must be a small bottle that could be pressed into service, maybe the smallest nalgene bottle available?

I thought of that but they still come up more or less the same size as the smallest production bottle. The only advantage of swapping bottles would be you get rid of the glass bottle. The MRE issue ones hold only about 1/2 oz of sauce and are ideal if you want to save spavce.

I have a small nalgene that is only an inch or so tall. Quite small i suppose, but no doubt you can get something smaller. We need to think a bit more abstract like! Medicine bottles? Spy capsules?

I've had an idea. Micro caches for geocaching. There MUST be something that would fit the bill. I'll go and look.

Maybe something like this:
http://www.ukgeocachers.co.uk/catalo...f60816e6f3a142 I like the idea of the pop bottles before they're blown up. They could be good for taking salt and pepper, other spices, and other things along in a secure strong waterproof/leakproof container. http://www.ukgeocachers.co.uk/catalo...f60816e6f3a142 Dig about, there are more on the site.

Anyway, a mini bottl;e won't even do one meal. You need a 1 litre nalgene bottle full of tabasco for a weekender, so get it done and stop wimping on about it!

Boots do some good little bottles for taking on planes. So far they have been leak proof with my olive oil.
