Default Lavvu. Bison vs Helsport

Fancy a tipi (and of course fire box!).
Choices at the mo are between the Bison as sold by MadBear and the Helsport Porsanger like Simon's.
Any thoughts anyone?

Porsanger gets my vote!

Light enough to carry easily. Quick to dry. Can be set up and packed away by 1 person in about 10 minutes. This one has stood up to some serious weather in the UKand not let me down. Coupled with the stove, IMHO is unbeatable.

As for the stove...

Cooked my breakfast on it and had unlimited hot water, with the added bonus that I slept with my arms hanging out of my doss bag it was so warm in the tent!

Of those two Porsanger definately gets my vote.

I have had hands on, on both of them, and i my honest opinion, Helsport wins handsdown between those two.

I would prefer a Tentipi (formerly known as "moskoselkåtan") over any Tipi's/Lavvu's though. I think they are a bit pricier, but honestly i haven't looked at any pricetags lately.

Hmmmm. It occurs to me that I can probably get trade prices for Tentipi.
