Bivvy bag mod
I just thought I'd share a few pics of the simple little mod I've done to my bivvy bag, the zip/webbing/toggle/elastic all came from an old tent I took apart the other day, so the total cost of this was the thread in the sewing machine and the electric to run it. I tend to always use a bivvy bag under a tarp anyway so it shouldn't be a problem, I'll probably end up adding a nice big flap on the outside just to cover up the zip at some point though anyway. Nice work mate - I have often thought how handy it would be to learn how to use a sewing machine, I might have to look into it
