A challenging time
Just come back from what turned out to be quite a challenging couple of days
Weather was ok on arrival  Then the wind picked up  Then the cloud came    Night fell and so did the rain cloud  Sausages in the rain   Survival situations dictate that you have to improvise and use your initiative. Breakfast for 2 using a jetboil, in the boot of my car, in a carpark somewhere  Bacon and eggs never tasted so good

The challenging weekends are the ones that you remember the most, the good ones are great but you will talk about breakfast in the boot for years!

Its a valley that i've camped for years in the lake district. When the weathers good its great, when it gets bad it can be really bad but thats valley camping and I love it.
