Recently ordered the Fjallraven Vintage Shoulder bag in khaki. I wanted something to use for foraging rather than my pockets and this looked just the job. I was expecting something in a heavy fabric like canvas but when it arrived it turned out to be made from some kind of modern lightweight material (was supposed to be their G1000 fabric but felt thinner).
Rather than a simple satchel type design it's got lots of internal pockets with zips. Even has pen holders . I was unimpressed so called the supplier and returned it.It's well made but aimed at the office bushcrafter I think. Looks like it better suited to a laptop rather than a bunch of tinder, some berries, a few mushrooms and an interesting stick or two. Wouldn't reccomend it and am off to buy myself a WW2 gas mask bag instead. ![]()

Had one for five years now, very tough little bag, washes very well, the lining sheds any guts or juices, the pockets are handy for a notepad and pens. Wax the out side too and its waterproof. It rolls down to a small size great to chuck in my rucksack.
