On Tuesday night my beautiful Poppy had a sudden heart attack and died in my back garden. She wasn't quite two, and was the best dog in the world.
I miss you so much girl. Sleep well xxx

She always seemed to be healthy but unfortunately she had a few phantom pregnancies. Because of this we decided to get her spayed which we didn't really want to do. It was the best thing for her though as they found a small cyst on one of her overies which meant that she would have continued to have phantom pregnancies.
When she had her last phantom pregnancy she collapsed one day on a walk over the park. It was a really hot day and we though she was just exhausted. Didn't think any more of it. However, its pretty much what happened on Tuesday in the garden. She fell onto her side with her legs ridged out straight and passed away in my arms only seconds later. I miss her so much, she was like a child and was a huge part of our family. The house seems so very quiet now, and we keep expecting to see her. Thanks for all your kind comments folks |

Sorry to hear that, you have my sympathies. Our dogs really get into our hearts and it is awful to lose them.
