Float some tennis balls on your pond, when it is frozen pull them out one at a time as each hole freezes up. This allows the frogs to come up to breathe.

If you can get an old tropical fish tank heater, put one in near the surface and it will keep a small area of water around it frost free..

Balls! It worked for Blue Peter, they always put a football on the pond before it froze over.

This is beside the point a little bit and perhaps in bad taste...but.....if you get the dead frogs, stick a straw up there arse, blow them up like a balloon and then let them go in the water. Fastest fu***ng frogs you'll ever see

If the worldwide amphibian decline continues, memories of frogs is all we will have

We don't have that trouble for our frogs here in Florida I guess they are able to chew their way through the ice...
