A mutual work colleague of both Addo and myself was involved in this, he didn't have a clue who Mears was as he "Doesn't have a telly!" :lmao: It should be really good though, but he said he got told off for talking whilst they were filming Ray doing his intro bit! :lmao:

I guess like any freelance presenter of any kind, he lives from contract to contract which, at the moment, appears to be with ITV.

He made some great programmes with the BBC, but maybe they tried to push him in a direction he didn't want to go in. Go independent and you can do what interests you, and I think this may be what Mears has done.
