That's a really good job - well done! What material have you used for the handle?

There was no leather with the kit but they will sell you a ready made sheath
This is the reply from them today.
Hello,
Thankyou for your enquiry,
The knife in the photo has birdseye maple scales, tapered tang and handle liners. It would be £174.
My standard basic price for a bushcraft knife of this type is £117, this would be with a european oak or mahogany handle.
The tapered tang adds £22, the liners add £17 and the birdseye maple adds £18. You dont have to have a tapered tang or liners and i have many other woods that are light in colour, such as-
OAK EUROPEAN....................fitted/shaped,£nil
ENGLISH OAK, RECLAIMED ANTIQUE..fitted/shaped,£12.
AUSTRALIAN SILKY OAK............fitted/shaped,£10.
MAPLE, PLAIN....................fitted/shaped,£10.
BIRDSEYE MAPLE..................fitted/shaped,£18.
SYCAMORE........................fitted/shaped,£10.
BEECH...........................fitted/shaped,£10.
OLIVE ASH.......................fitted/shaped,£10.
Sheaths start at £31 for a neck sheath, £36 for a belt sheath, if a fire steel holder is required this is plus £5. I can also supply a fire steel with matched handle for £15.
.....Many thanks.....Steve....
Or you could do it this way
