Just call me Mr Stove! My new creation an ?alcohol stove?.
Very easy to make just a small tin with a hole drilled through the top to allow the wicks to protrude.
Around the side are 4 six inch nails supported by a jubilee clip. On the top of the stove I have put a flame disperser, made out of tin top. The wind shield is made out of an old bean tin, but I am not happy about this and I will make something a lot better next time. :D

The put an ?aircrew survival tin? on the top which holds ? L of water. Inside I put ? L of water which boiled in 10 mins.

Pictures are not the best, they were taken from my phone.

very clever!

Nice approach to a problem, You have a better support there than I've been able to come up with for my Trangis.

Of course I'll steal your idea and try to adapt it!

I like it!
