OK I have a little competition for you, basically all you have to do is answer this question:

'Which protected plant has an edible tuber that turns at a 90 degree angle beneath the ground and is renowned for being difficult to uncover?'

The answer can be found in many places, most notably the book Bushcraft by Ray Mears or Food for Free by Richard Mabey.

Please PM me the answer. Guests, you must be a member to participate, register here (http://www.bushcraftliving.com/forums/register.php)

Those who answer correctly will be put into a hat and the winner randomly selected.
One answer only so choose wisely!!

The prize is a superb Doug Ritter Survival Pack provided by www.outdoorcode.com (http://www.outdoorcode.com) , I believe this is currently the sole UK provider of it.

The competition will close on the 26th February, two weeks from now so that is plenty of time to get the answer!
