Posted on the other side as well but I thought I'd share it with folks here also.

I'm on a lieu day today so I decided to go for a walk with Sam at Ashridge Estate (http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/main/w-ashridge) to check out the bluebells.
Got up there only to find I'd forgotten to replace the batteries in my camera :o so I had to make do with my camera phone so sorry for the quality of some of the pictures. It was a wet and chilly morning and because of that we had the wood to ourselves which was great.

Ashridge has some magnificent specimen trees. We walked passed a load of Horse Chestnut trees some of which were over 5ft in diameter

All in all, it was a really nice walk for us both. Now I better get on with the decorating or the little wifey might have something to say
