I've found this site following a google search about some bushcrafty stuff.
I'm a neophyte wannabe :D and am gradually easing myself into the outdoors.
I'm ashamed to admit I'm a bit of a kit and blade junky, most of which I get fixed at another place - for what I want, and I buy most of it from another place [I see Andrew's a member here, too!].
I'm fortunate to live in Scotland, and very fortunate to live in the Highlands, in easy reach of woods that thanks to the Land Reform (Scotland) 2003 act, I can wild camp in whenever I want [as can anyone else].
I've been backpacking in the Rockies as a lad, some 30+ years ago [I'm a 47 year old Englishman]; and used to do a great deal of walking in Northern England where I lived most of my life [not so much in the last 15 years]. Most of it in the Lakes, some in the Peak District, and of course, aome in Yorkshire including the White Rose and Lyke Wake walks.
I think anything above 10 miles would finish me off nowadays... but as I walk more, I walk longer.
So, that's me. I look forward to chatting on here.
