Destruction test on stick tang

Decided to see if stick tangs can take abuse, so got an old knife out and hammer and began to hammer and batton away. I can safely say that stick tangs (even ones where the tang does not go all the way through) can take more than enough of a beating (when properly made)

It took 5 mins of constant hammering to get it to this stage

I hope that was the first step, and the next will be provide a hand made handle to that knife.
