Nice looking knife though I'm not too keen on the finger indents on the handle, could get quite uncomfortable after some extended use. Be interesting to see how you find it. :)
not much different to the woodlore job scotty really, looks good, it interests me to see the different knife styles across the globe, what are the typical knives the spanish go for zorro?
I think I have one of those somewhere, I'll try and dig it out and you can have a look this weekend JP

Are those finger indents or just an optical illusion from the grain?
Love the wood......but I am not a big fan of stainless unless it is meant to be used by salt water.
The geometry looks useful as well.

No finger indents... scales are plain it's just an optic effect of the olive wood grain

here we use mostly spanish brands like Aitor, Muela, Cudeman, Nieto, Joker, Andujar, etc. they are very good knives, lot of variety models and not expensive at all. Of course there are also users of foreign brands (Fallkniven, Cold Steel, Bark River, Ontario, and so...)
I have lot of blades, mostly fixed blades and a few folders.
Here are some pics of knives i use most often...
above Muela NL classic bushcraft style...
down my current EDC Muela Kodiak both knives are around 10cm (4") blade

if i ever should carry only one knife i think i would choose something bigger than 4"... i've used the cudeman villegas knife a lot and i feel comfort with it's 15 cms (6") recurved blade.

Also i've used a lot my old Muela Jabali 21 cms (almost 9") blade... it lost it's olive wood scales and wraped it with self-vulcanisation rubber tape.
