I saw your post on BB......if you want a heat treated finished blank to put a handle on yourself, a few of us know (and get into the woods with) a really good lad who may be prepared to quote you a price for one. For example, I drew up and cut out a cardboard profile of what I wanted and he produced it to my spec (O1 steel, scandi grind etc)....that enabled me to assess blade size, depth of handle etc. I think he does do this for others....we'll see him in a couple of weeks and could check it out for you....

I'll check things out at the end of next week.....but if you happen to meet up with Martin this weekend he'll vouch for the quality of the blades

Cheers mate, and as for Martin, he's already been in touch singing the praise of quality re the knives so there's no doubting either of you there.
